It is day 4 in Door County and like yesterday, the sun has decided to shine! :-) It was absolutely beautiful weather on Wednesday and we loved every minute of it. We ate at Al Johnson's and had their wonderful Swedish Pancakes. We enjoyed seeing the goats on the grassy roof and as you can see from the one picture, I was able to get a picture of two "Trolls"....one being rather mischievious! While walking around in Sister Bay we saw the same old man we saw on Tuesday, running in his wet swimming trunks. It must be a daily routine for him.
On the way back to Bailey's Harbor, we had to stop at my favorite shop in Door County. I found a unique planter and will have fun putting the appropriate flowers/plants in it for the goddess head's 'hair'. For supper we ate at Northwoods Grill in Sister Bay and I ordered some Whitefish. It was really good. The cheesy mashed potatoes were definitely cheesy; too much so though! Once back at the resort, we did some walking around the resort area and then I did some evening sketching while sitting outside and enjoying the harbor view and watching the seagulls diving in the water for their evening meal.
We move ahead to day 4 in Door County and will let the day unfold with who knows what activities.
